About This

• This radar blind spot detection system is a driver assistance device that helps drivers change lanes safely. It uses a 77GHz automotive-grade radar chip from TI, offering ultra-wide bandwidth to detect moving objects within a 3.5m x 70m range in the blind spots on both sides and rear of the vehicle.
• It operates stably at -40℃, providing all-weather detection in heavy rain, dense fog, and sandstorms; it remains sensitive at both high and low speeds, accurately identifying nearby vehicles; and it issues an alarm via LED indicator and buzzer if a moving object suddenly enters the detection range.
• Operating Mode: Automatically starts when the engine starts and automatically shuts off when the engine stops; It does not react to stationary objects, only warning moving objects such as cars, pedestrians, bicycles, and motorcycles, reducing unnecessary alarms
• Standard Functions: BSD – Monitors left/right rear blind spots and alerts approaching vehicles; LCA – After turn signal, monitors approaching vehicles with audible/visual alerts to prevent collisions; DOW – Door Open Warning, prevent sudden opening accidents
• 77GHz Unique Features: AOA – Active Overtaking Warning detects blind-spot vehicles during overtaking, eliminating B-pillar blind areas; B-pillar warning – Detects hidden same-speed vehicles in adjacent lanes; RCTA – Alerts crossing vehicles when reversing to prevent side collisions
